Building a brand and digital platform for an
established family firm

In the current financial climate, the home renovation market has become more and more competitive. Lewis Charles had successfully established themselves in the Surrey area as specialists in all things kitchens and bathrooms. Despite this, their brand identity and website did not reflect either their company values or high service levels. Lewis Charles came to us to refresh their brand and create a new website that gives them an online shop window to be proud of and drives sales.

What we did

To develop the brand, we needed to really understand what Lewis Charles stands for and what makes them different. Through several brand development meetings with the client, it was clear that being a family-owned business, Lewis Charles offers a much more personal service and is on hand ‘every step of the way’. From this we developed an identity that felt warm and approachable but also stands out from competitors, whilst appealing to a range of potential customers.

We then gave their marketing materials a full makeover and drew up simple brand guidelines to make sure their new identity continues to be consistently rolled out. With this contemporary look and feel in mind the website was designed to showcase their beautiful range of kitchens and bathrooms. The bespoke Content Management System gives our client full control to update and add new case studies to entice customer interest.

The response

The new look website works seamlessly across all platforms, with the design focusing on making sure the information was clearly presented. This improved site navigation makes it much easier for Lewis Charles’ customers to find what they are looking for.

With a now strong and consistent brand message, the new look and feel has been rolled out across a wealth of collateral, as well as having a much stronger digital presence. As with any identity project, the brand will continue to evolve over time and we are excited to see how this project will reach a wider target audience and generate business growth
